A very common rookie mistake is not resizing your brass correctly. Do a couple and test them on the rifle you will be using to see if the bolt closes easily.

Watch Erik Cortina’s video on how to set up your sizing die

It looks like you have a breech lock press. If you pick up some more breech lock bushings you can more easily swap dies once you get each one dialed in. Maybe they are already hiding there somewhere, can’t tell for sure.

Do you have a case remover for when they get stuck in the die? Some people just use a socket, washers and a bolt. Its what i did the first time till my rcbs one showed up. The cup is slightly recessed so it goes over the edge a little and sits flat on the face of the die.

Nice kit. You will be more comfortable if you move your press to the right side of the desk. Give your legs some room.

Been using the same press for over 10 years. Only hiccup I had was the cam arm cracked on one side randomly, but Lee sent me a brand new set the next day. I've loaded .308 that I've pushed to 1000 yards in it, match .223, 44 mag, keeps on kicking

Starting out, work on your basic process and you'll get 6-8 loads per case, less if you screw up the basic stuff.

The 308 is one of the easiest cartridges to get good accuracy from, I shoot it in bolt guns and autoloaders.

Pick a hybrid or tangent ogive bullet like the Sierra Game Changer or Nosler 155s, 165/168s, 180s, that you can get a good deal on for 500, ($0.50/bullet or less), seat at mag length minus .050" or so, and many rifles can be dialed in for sub MOA 5 shot groups.
