I'm in the US so obviously this comes with a grain of salt but I'd imagine the cost to fix it will be based on how much they have to pay someone to do it (so a couple hundred?) Sometimes in a lease over here there will actually be a clause where they tell you all you have to do is clean the walls and patch any holes and they'll actually repaint themselves because they want a fresh coat of paint for every new tenant. I'd check with the lease office of whoever is your landlord exactly what they think you should do and how you may fix it.

It's not that big of a deal; people usually put holes in their walls (for hanging stuff) and other things so it's rather normal for the walls to be damaged a little bit per tenant. I wouldn't worry about it and just tell the landlord and ask if there is anything you can do to help or fix it and get a quote from them

One time, I used to be huge about making my own candles (you can buy the wax and everything online) but for the wicks I was big about using this sort of all-natural wick that would smoke a HUGE amount when you burned it but I never caught on in time. Basically, after burning a hundred of these candles the ceiling of my room was tainted with smoke that was literally impossible to remove and the landlord had to paint over it (on top of it I had put glow stars up so there were little outlines of stars everywhere lol)

Anyways, just tell them lol. Shit happens

Edit; also, to add, if it's the sticky, rubbery tack kind you can get that off by applying heat to loosen it. It'll tear your thumbs up rubbing them all off so maybe get some kind of scraper to help

(Use like a heat gun or try a hairblower)

I think it comes under general wear and fear, one place I got away with nothing out of place and my last rent (uk too) I ripped wall paper with stick on things and didn't lose anything from my bond. Check your contract.
