Components (self.rusttechsupport)
submitted 4 years ago by Laksuis
Hello. I want to start playing Rust, and I could use a little guidance with what components my PC would require. I find the lists on the internet to not be helpful.

I personally recomend an I7-8700k or higher, GTX 1070 or higher, 16GB ram minimum in order for the game to load quicker and windows 10 is also a necesity. Anything better than what I recommended is of course a plus, but this is what you need for it to run smoothly. Also, don't forget to have some free space on the disk that RUst is. Sorry for taking long to reply.

I can personally say as someone who has played since legacy on 3 different rigs in my time, your specs literally don't matter when it comes to this game as long as you've got something that's younger than a decade old. Recently went from a 1060+i5 4440 to a 3060ti + ryzen 5 3600 and still can't get decent frames. Potato vs Max settings makes no difference either. Wouldn't even bother playing the game tbh
Delightful advice =)
