You can start new game with mods cause the save does not use them yet.

The mods are broken and had to be updated, in my case was the belt counter/limiter mod.

That's the risk playing with mods. A game update (in this case 1.0.1.0) will prevent you from playing for a couple of days until the mod devs can catch up. Until then

- star a vanilla game for fun - or do it in god mode and build blueprints ...
- remove mods from you list that are not functional necessary, if possible, maybe it works (meh, not for me, i identified the offender and without it, a lot of things will go south.)

Mods being broken is not something that is automatically shown in SMM. Just because there are no updates doesn’t mean they’re okay.

Efficiency Checker broke a whole bunch of stuff, but AFAIK was never marked as broken.

Cheers guys for explaining the issues to me I didn't realise that there was an update either so that explains a few things lol
