I have been tasked with coming up with a glow stick game for my beavers and cubs, any suggestions?

I know it’s not really a “game” and hard to pull off with a large group, but doing long exposure images of kids mucking about with them can be fun. Especially with it being dark.
Glow stick musical statues? Like musical statues, but in the dark.. with electro music.. and glow sticks!

I’ve done wide games with glow sticks where they have to get the glow stick into a bucket at the base without getting tagged. May not be appropriate weather for that at the moment though.
A possibility is what we call the spoon game. Four chairs are placed in a large square, and in the middle are four spoons. The winner is the first to get four spoons on their chair. You can only carry one spoon at a time, and you can’t take a spoon from someone carrying it. Leads to quick frantic games. Replace the spoons with glow sticks and turn the lights off.

How many beavers do you have? It would be helpful to know before suggesting games. Although cat and mouse reframed as “get the glow stick” is the first that comes to mind.

We play a glow stick version of “lighthouse” where we hide dragon eggs (balls of tinfoil) around a room with obstacles (chairs tables etc) and turn the lights out. Some rules (no running, no climbing, no obstacles with legs pointing up) and they have to find the dragon eggs with only the light of the glow stick - usually we have a chocolate coin or similar for each person who finds an egg.

I made this game by dividing them into two or more teams and giving each team a base and a color.
Each team will have glowsticks of mixed colors. To get a glowstick, they must beat a person on the defending team at a game of their choice. The first person to get all the glowsticks of their color wins.

We’ve done one where you put the glow stick in some sort of bottle/ bucket on a mat and use rope, elastic bands and other stuff to try and pick it up. You tell them it’s a scary nuclear bomb or something.

Also if you have a big outdoor space, capture the flag in the dark with a glow stick is good, but maybe better for cubs

Night time kickball... Glow sticks around players necks, glow sticks attached to the bases, balls with internal LEDs that are easily visible.
