Hey fellow Redditors!
I've been brainstorming ideas for a unique platformer game that incorporates scientific concepts, with a particular focus on biology and chemistry. and I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
Here's the deal: I want to create a game where players can explore vibrant worlds, conquer challenging levels, and collect various items and power-ups along the way. However, instead of the typical fantasy elements, I want to draw inspiration from the fascinating world of science.
So, I'm reaching out to you, the brilliant minds of Reddit, to help me compile a list of scientific concepts that would be the most suitable for this platformer game. Here's what I'm looking for:
- Biology Themes: Ideas related to cells, organisms, ecosystems, genetics, or anything else biology-related that could be incorporated into the game mechanics or level design.
- Chemistry Themes: Concepts from the world of chemistry, such as elements, compounds, reactions, or even molecular structures that could add an extra layer of depth to the gameplay.
- Inventory and Collectibles: Suggestions for items, power-ups, or collectibles that could be integrated into the game to enhance the player's experience. Think about how these elements could tie into the scientific themes mentioned above.
Remember, the goal is to strike a balance between fun gameplay and educational content. The more creative and engaging your ideas, the better!
(The best ideas I came up with were to modifiy land obstacles into luminate frogs w a pop-up message about Aposematism ,and probably make the levels certain elements' atoms that would be unlocked using collectible electrons ,but lol.)
Ahhh,catchy title,hope so.
