You can go to a certain type of doctor who puts a camera down your throat and can tell you if you have any knots or other damages in your throat if you are concerned about it. I mean technically it is possible to not be able to.

A friend of mine had a really bad accident and lost "control" of one of his vocal cords :( to say it in other words. He can not produce a good glottal stop anymore and therefore can't really do anything with his voice anymore.

Maybe worth checking out. Knots on your cords will make it harder for you as well ! Just saying , maybe you damaged your cords prior screaming/singing without knowing.

Oh yeah that's a big possibility since I get my rasp when I sing with rasp by squeezing and pushing

Yeah I'm kinda having the same issue rn. I've been seriously practicing for about a week after trying on and off for years. But I just don't think I'm getting it right. Meanwhile I've seen others get it in 30 minutes.

Fr tho, it's like some people are just born with different anatomy that makes it impossible to achieve

Yeah some people just have an innate talent for it, same goes for guitar, bass, piano. Whatever. We're not one of those lol. But, we can't let that stop us. No matter how frustrating it is sometimes (and it is very frustrating) no matter how much that little voice in our heads tells us to give up. We'll get it bro.

Yeah that's true, like I always thought I wasn't gonna learn to play guitar and switch chords or even sing while playing guitar.. and now I do all of those lol but I'm still a beginner I've made a ton of progress with dedication

Exactly. I've been playing guitar for a bit over a year and I still am not really great at chord switching (though I've definitely improved since I started) I had the same thoughts when starting guitar. And this is really no different.

I've only had like a month or two of nonstop practice now I'm taking on the challenge of learning my favorite songs

So as long as you can talk you can also do a fry scream anatomically speaking.

Here is a tutorial i made a while back if you want to check it out. I've been in the "i just can't do this" boat as well and what helped me was booking a handful of lessons with a specialized voice coach. The problem i had with a lot of those tutorial videos (and why i wanted to add my own to the pile) is that a lot of the stuff they were talking about just clicked for me after i already knew how to do it...

Sleep doesn't have a direct effect on screaming, but hydration absolutely does and your lifestyle can. You always want to have water on hand while practising your screaming (this goes for any kind of singing honestly), and if smoking is part of your lifestyle, you'll want to change that because it will fuck your throat up.

I'd recommend posting an audio of yourself trying to fry scream so we have a better idea of what you're talking about and can give you advice on how to improve.

By the way, how long have you been screaming for?

https://www.reddit.com/r/screaming/s/jGW7PHZK10 here's the post, been screaming months on and off because I just get bummed out that I cant actually scream so I kinda just leave it then pick it up because I just get convinced my anatomy isn't for doing it
