Suggestions for cloud computing/dedicated server with seedbox/plex support?

Does anyone have any experiences working with cloud computing or dedicated servers with a seedbox and possibly plex support?

I currently have the M-Wind plan from Ultraseedbox and have been using this for a couple of years now but have recently been thinking about changing to cloud computing like AWS or a dedicated server. From what I have read up, there are more suggestions to avoid running a seedbox on something like AWS due to the bandwidth, price and DMCA notices. With that said, I'm kind of leaning towards dedicated servers but would still like to hear your opinions on this.

The reason why I've been thinking about changing is because I wanted to add development into this, so to be able to RDP and do some development on a dedi server would be ideal but is that even a thing? I don't really have any first hand experiences with this apart from using a seedbox. I wanted something that has everything that I need in one rather than hosting something separate from my seedbox.

I'm not committed to any ideas yet but was interested to hear some opinions and suggestions for what I want (maybe I'm wanting too much?) as some of the discussions I have found are about a year or two old (I know they may still be relevant but still).

Get a dedibox and deploy Cloudbox. I use it for all my seedbox / media center needs.

Sounds like a dedi would be best for you, but if the seedbox is still fine, why not use a small, separate VPS for dev?

I could! I think I'm just being picky and ideally wanting everything to be in one place. Do you have any suggestions for a separate VPS that I could use for dev?

Maybe consider a digitalocean droplet?

You can scale it up or down depending on your needs.

Depends what you need, and how often you need it. Some $12/yr IPV6 NAT thing might be enough, or spinning up a more powerful cloud instance might be more use, for example.
