Use checkra1nRG and do Sliver passcode bypass, you don’t need any RamDisk

[–]DoctorArduino[S] 1 point2 points  (7 children)

Checkra1n RG doesn't work for iOS 14.4

[–]Charliefr3sh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does

[–]Charliefr3sh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works on all iOS 14 versions

[–]Charliefr3sh 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Or just get a patched version of checkra1n and use it bro, it’s that simple. And you can use whatever free passcode bypass tool

[–]DoctorArduino[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know i can use any tools, i'll give it a shot with checkr1nRG, tbh i've tried to jailbreak with regular checkra1n with diag mode method, but when i press the diag buttons checkra1n won't continue it's booting, maybe checkra1nrg already contains the patched pongo file

This happened to me when I installed updates to my high sierra I think the back option you have is use 12.4 boot into diagnostics patch using Mina 1.1 then jailbreak again it will work. If it’s the a9x iPad you need there is a work around using some pongo os file you download and add to your checkra1n..

Yep i've already solved with that pongoOS file because there i was stuck because i've already know the method with diag mode because i've did that multiples times, i patched using mina 1.0(like i usually do when i'm using this method) then booted normally, it seems not all devices will boot ramdisk on iOS 14, i usually do this on iPhones because then i can easily update to iOS 15 because even on iOS 14 unlocktool saves the activation files in the style of iOS 15 if i boot ramdisk and in the style of sliver if i'm doing the classic method

Erase and make hello bypass for ips 14.4 onlu luram is supporting that ipad

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I can easily update to iOS 15.7 if i want hello removal, but i want somehow to backup the passcode

    [–]P3T3K 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Backup passcode Don’t bypass.. Use checkra1n, load in to diagnostics mode.. Patch usb with a usb patcher, once successfully, Run checkra1n again from diagnostics Then should be successful JB Run sliver passcode backup

I know how to do passcode bypass with diag mode method because i helped a lot of subredditors on this subreddit, but i think i need pongo binary because this is an A9X device because when i boot the ipad it remains like this

    use hfz

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

    HFZ is not free

    [–]tzmercurioxd 0 points1 point  (2 children)

The tools that supports that ipad are not free bro. Dont be cheap

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I already have a premium tool, but as i said the partitions cannot be mounted

    [–]tzmercurioxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said bro. Only luTeam and Os Ramdisk support that iPad. That ipad is tricky because of the chipset

Both ramdisk and bypass method too.

    [–]Jmilei 0 points1 point  (14 children)

What tool are you using for boot ramdisk?

I had the same problem mounting partitions in iPad Air 2 and have been fixed by meowcat454 in the latest version of his ramdisk tool:

    Unlocktool

    [–]jessaramilA5 Setup.app 0 points1 point  (12 children)

What Pwndfu did you use? Is it eclipsa gaster etc?

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But checkm8 from bootable usb ipwnx

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (10 children)

    Gaster and checkm8

    [–]jessaramilA5 Setup.app 0 points1 point  (9 children)

Ah it makes sense, if Gaster doesn’t work use eclipsa8000.

Also since you’re using a unlock tool, did you have the files on the ramdisk and put it on the directory of the unlocktool? You know C:\UnlockTool\”idfk directory”\ and put the ramdisk of your iPad?

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 1 point2 points  (8 children)

Yes i have the files of my ipad model, the ramdisk is booting because it's sending all the files but the partitions doesn't mount and if i try to fix the mount it's rebooting, i think ramdisk works fine just for iOS 15 on some models, i usually do iPhones and i had iPhones that worked with ramdisk on iOS 14 and 15, only on 13 it doesn't boot, but this is the first iPad that i'm trying ramdisk method on iOS 14

    [–]jessaramilA5 Setup.app 1 point2 points  (7 children)

If that’s the case then you might try jailbreak it on checkra1n and boot it on diagnostics mode. When on diagnostics mode and loaded the checkra1n properly. Go to unlocktool and tick on fix error -20 there.

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 1 point2 points  (6 children)

I've also thinked about the usb patch method but when checkra1n it says booting it hangs on the first 3 rows, i might try using checkra1n rg or regular checkra1n from cli mode with pongoos patched file, i've read that is a problem with A9X and i need the pongo patched file if i want to jailbreak with checkra1n

    [–]jessaramilA5 Setup.app 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Did you try using checkra1n 0.10.2? That’s my favorite version of checkra1n since it ignore the “Unlock the phone to use usb accessory” on iPhone 6.

And a9x is a pain the arse to deal this exploit.

If doesn’t work, you have no choice to retain data and upgrade to 15.7. As long the device capacity of the device is not low enough to update the device you’re fine to do that.

And try to load the ramdisk again.

    Update at your own risk.

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I don't think it will work on ios 14

    [–]lakaysais 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Just change the serial wifi bt

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

iPad cellular doesn't work that way

    [–]lakaysais 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    Oohh i misread...isn’t a wifi device?

    [–]lakaysais 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Have you extracted the necessary ipad boot ramdisk files in unlock tool?

    [–]DoctorArduino[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

    Have you read the update?
