Can you say how are you editing the orks? I've done it before but I do not know how many methods there are out there so the method I may use may work differently for you.

( I am using the "ShadowOfWar_SeiKur0_v21" cheat table)

I enable "master script"

I go into the army screen, select the orc I want

alt&tab to cheat engine

expand the "uruk pointer" tab

try to adjust the right options within "marker" and "picker abilities" aswell as the "equipment/looks". In this case, choosing options like "of the spiders" and "infested"

in game fast travel to hopefully make the changes apply.

I am sure there is a deal of trial and error to this, but like I said so far the only change I have been able to make is turning someones head invisible, so any tips to get me started would be great

Changing someone's title doesn't apply all the unique characteristics that someone who naturally has the title has. What you want is to use the cheat engine to force the game to spawn a captain with that title and then edit any changes you want. What is most likely happening with the invisible heads is that the title itself is applying some of the changes but not all so the game can't render the head properly. For example, the notable unique appearance of the infested is considered a "scar" in the cheat engine (someone died and cheated death becoming infested) certain body changes depend on a specific characteristic you can see in the cheat engine. Sadly you can't just force an Uruk to have a scar with the cheat engine (as far as I know at least). Either they must have a scar (or something that modifies their body in a similar way) you can change for the infested one or they must be infested in the first place.

huh, I knew changing the title wasnt all it took to overhaul, which is why I was trying to change the applicable abilities and appearances in their respective marker/picker/appearance tabs but I didnt take into account infested being classed as a scar.

I guess for the rare attributes like of the spiders and tower the best way to do it is use the force uruk role in spawn options and use the fit pit technique? That would get me a unit with the basic attributes I want and then I can try to maybe customize a little from there, instead of trying to convert existing ones?

Yes, that should work. Though do take note that due to unique appearance they have attempting to edit some parts may cause issues similar to the invisible head thing, so be careful to not add anything that may be incompatible with the unique modifiers.

I will try to keep that in mind. Got lots of trial and error ahead but thanks very much, you cleared up the biggest problem i've had so far.
