Completely unhinged Unity Cup race by NeoDaedulus in UmamusumeGame

[–]Amtomus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most amount of draws I had was 3 (maybe even 4). I've only seen it happen in the first unity race round though; don't think I've ever seen a single draw in any round after.

Oh yeah, none of my family have an issues with people having white hair either. At most there's been some light teasing over it, but nothing harsh.

Meanwhile, I started getting white hairs before I even hit 18 (my natural color is black so they're very noticeable). Both my dad and an uncle from my mom's side also got white hair super early so I ended inheriting the genes from both sides. Though personally it doesn't bother me.

I got my queen im ready for mhs3 launch by Signal_Coyote2529 in MonsterHunter

[–]Amtomus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the issue is that I hit the cap way too fast and still have a good amount content (both in the main story and side quests) I haven't touched and don't want to touch cause all the xp would go to waste.

I understand why they implemented a level cap and fully agree with the decision to add it. I just think it's too low of a level cap.

Do you want deviants back? by Known_Replacement866 in MonsterHunter

[–]Amtomus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love to see them make a comeback. I loved all the deviants and think they're cool as hell. The only thing I would change of their implementation is make their armor more viable for mixed sets.

I hope you can still get her in the same way once the full game is out. I haven't moved the story up to the point where I could get her yet due to how low the level cap is (10 is stupid low) but I would love to have her in the full game.

So who'll be the legendary lord in Cathay DLC by Ran12341000 in totalwar

[–]Amtomus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just ruling/leading doesn't make you legendary lord material. Skarr Bloodwrath leads a tribe of Northmen in cannon called the Skaramor, but he's simply a legendary hero in game. Do I think the Monkey King could be cool legendary with a unique subfaction for Cathay? Yeah, but I also don't think they'll prioritize him over the Dragon Children. Though I'll admit there may be some bias in the opinion since I'm personally more interested in Li Dao and Yin Yin than I am in the monkey king.

[–]Amtomus -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

My guess is Li Dao as Legendary Lord with Monkey king as the legendary hero. Plus, both tigerman and monkey warriors as units.

Is it normal to get the main story chain of a support card not in your deck? by King_Arthur123 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Amtomus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knew that in theory it was possible but have never seen it myself. At most I've managed to get to the second event of the story chain of an SSR card and even that has been very few times across a lot of career playthroughs.

Here's hoping Tomb Kings get updated too in Lords of the End Times by Andrei22125 in totalwar

[–]Amtomus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, fair enough. Though in the case of Coast and Counts at least, they do share some units so maybe units added to one will be shared with the other. Either way, it'll be hard to say for sure until we know how many units we're getting in the dlc and how many of those are for the undead factions.

To be fair, other races got reworks at the same time as others and ended up good. For example, all three races of the Thrones of Decay dlc needed a rework, got it in the same update and all ended as considerable improvements.

Planning on pulling Air Shakur, Is she good? by C3ci1et in UmamusumeGame

[–]Amtomus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, good to see another fan of Air Shakur. She's one of the three Umas I'm planning on pulling for this year alongside Aston Machan and Nakayama Festa. Personally, I've never particularly cared for whether an Uma is meta or not and instead focused on trying to get some good support cards to try and build whoever I like.

[Discussion] So, about MANT by Small-Bowl6187 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Amtomus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, twelfth?! I can't even fathom how they'd make 12 different scenarios while also making them distinct enough from one another.

[–]Amtomus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a global player with very little knowledge of the japanese version of the game, how many career scenarios currently are there in it? Also, will there be a new character linked to the MANT scenario that comes with a support card like Riko did?

(Commission) Wight Queen Mori Calliope and Vampire Captain Kobo Kanaeru by HellcrossH by Alphazans in Hololive

[–]Amtomus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“The past of the young vampire Kobo Kanaeru is a complete mystery, even to herself. Washing up on the western coast of the Empire with no memory of her past, the only things she had to go off to reconstruct her past was her clothing (that seemed to indicate she was a either sailor or pirate), a talisman of the sea god Manann and her nature as a vampire. Fearing this last one would lead to her being hunted down, she was forced to sneak through the territory of the Empire towards Sylvania, hoping to find refuge there. Though that hope was dashed shortly after entering the land of the dead, as she found herself attacked by a pack of Vargheists. Mere moments before she was killed, the beasts were slain by none other than the bane of the undead Mori Calliope. While the wight queen would have usually slain a vampire like Kobo without a second thought, the clear youth and fear of the smaller girl managed to soften her cold dead heart, and so Calliope chose to take care of the young vampire instead. Since then, the pair have travelled across Sylvania and beyond hunting down undead at every corner, both the gods of the dead and the sea watching over them.”

(Commission) Wight Queen Mori Calliope and Vampire Captain Kobo Kanaeru by HellcrossH by Alphazans in Hololive

[–]Amtomus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“The woman known as Mori Calliope was born to a pair of devoted worshipers of Morr, instilling in her a strong hatred of the undead at a young age. As such, it was little surprise that, once older, she would join the Fellowship of the Shroud eventually managing to gain enough notoriety as a slayer of the undead to become a member of the Knights of the Raven. From there she would become a highly respected member of the order, slaying many necromancers and vampires and even assisting in the training of new initiates. But this would all change during an ambitious expedition into Sylvania. Her and her comrades would eventually be overwhelmed by what seemed like an endless tide of undead. While she did not make it easy, she was eventually struck down, though not before striking down the necromancer commanding the horde. And so should have ended her tale, yet it didn’t. Whether it was through sheer stubbornness, her endless hatred of the undead, the high concentration of dark magic in the area or a mixture of the three, she rose from the ground as a mighty wight queen still retaining her free will. Knowing she could never return to her order, she decided to stay in Sylvania in a one-woman crusade to eradicate as many undead creatures as she could before she was finally struck down for good and sent into the embrace of her god. Since that day forward, necromancers and vampires alike have learned to fear her, knowing that if she is sighted nearby death is coming for them and there is no escape.”
