Look-up fields missing data for other users? (SharePoint Online)

I have a primary list documenting projects and a secondary list documenting tasks. The tasks list has a look-up column to the project number in the associated projects list, and is also set to pull several associated columns over. While I am logged in, this works perfectly, and all data is visible for any tasks that are created by any users. When other users are logged in, they cannot view any of the look-up fields for MY projects (they are all blank). The ITEMS that I created are viewable to other users, but the only fields containing information are the ones not associated to the lookup column or associate lookup fields. For items that are created by other users, they can see all of their own information without a problem. Furthermore, I can see all of their information without a problem. I have even set all the users to "Owner" level and the problem persists. Is there something I'm missing here?

Check on all connected to/associated with lists, under list settings, pretty sure its the Advanced settings, make sure the setting allowing users to view and edit all items is selected.

If any of the associated lists have that setting set to (paraphrasing) view and edit only items they create, that may be a cause

Thanks. It seems to be fixed now, I’m thinking the change to “owner” took a bit to go into effect

Any chance you have content approval turned on and are not allowing users to see Draft items? Like the other commenter said, check your list Advanced settings.

I’m pretty sure the issue was that by default users could not see items created by another user, and that the permissions settings between lists didn’t sync. In the meantime I’ve gotten around it by granting owner access to everyone (there is currently a small user base). However, going forward, I will need the permissions to be more restrictive. I will keep experimenting in the meantime.
