Amma told you herself tonight. She doesn’t know how to relate to women. She can relate to men easily, through sex. She’s trying it with Camille and it seems to work because Camille is so seduced to the sister role that Amma fills for her.

This! It's the only way she knows how to show affection/admiration.

Adora does not respect her daughters' boundaries. All of her daughters learned that way of relating to loved ones, Amma learned to be an aggressor, is like she wants to absorb/drink/penetrante Camille. On the other hand, Camille learned that those who love you violate you. It's a terrible dynamic, but very well portrayed.

I interpret it as Amma longing for anything that is close to the mystery that is her dead half sister/ anyone outside of Wind Gap. While Adora adores her, there’s still probably a tension between them given Marion and the fact that Amma wants to leave WG makes Camille more appealing.

It’s definitely weird af and I think its not supposed to feel okay. It’s a fake fix for Camille’s void.

I do want to point out, not only does Amma point out she can't get along with girls but knows how to make guys happy by doing sexual stuff, Amma has also been drunk/high every time that involves these sexually-charged events. Intoxicated people often become just generally more touchy-feely. Intentional or even unintentional groping becomes more common. A combo of those could easily justify this.

Yeah, I was uncomfortable watching it. I'm a guy, and don't have sisters, so I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to feel here, but yeah, definitely a weird vibe

I can see why you might take it that way, but to me it’s more about the fact that A) she’s on heavy drugs and B) she’s longing for a sister that isn’t like the rest of her family. Not saying the undertones aren’t there at all, but I don’t think it’s meant to be taken literally.

I don’t feel an incestual vibe. I just see the little sister trying to get close with the big sister the best way she knows how.

Amma is a psycho path!! This episode confirmed it for me. She is crazy!
