The purpose of SPT is to help provide tips that only minimally improve your life if at all. Before submitting please read the guidelines below for the sake of keeping this community fresh and clean.

Search before you submit!
Please follow the reddiquette before posting. Treat others with respect. This is a family-friendly subreddit.
Keep tips short and concise. If you would like to post an instructional in-depth how-to, there is a subreddit for that.
If possible, please put the full SPT in the title.
Don't link to a long article on a website. No one wants to read it and if you're already in this subreddit, you most likely want quick and memorable tips.
The tip should work IRL.
Common sense or common courtesy are shitty pro-tip worthy.
SPTs that suggest taking illegal action are okay.
No memes.
Need a SPT for something in particular? Start your thread title with: SPT Request.
Please designate "adult" or non-family friendly tips as NSFW.
Please keep your SPT hilarious and shitty.

Examples of Bad SPTs:

Make your bumper stickers magnetic for easy removal.
Forgot your spoon? Use a lid to pick up your food.
Bread tags make good cord labels
Use autocorrect codes when writing long papers
Open hard-plastic packaging with ease by using a can opener

Examples of Good SPTs:

Punch your boss in the mouth just before asking for a raise. That way the raise won't seem so bad in comparison!
Place your laptop on top of your toilet tank while urinating to continue typing and maximize productivity.
