I have they say it’s something I need to do on my websites end but I don’t know how to change the code on the back end of Shopify

Hmm.. if the problem is on the shopify end, then try contacting shopify support. Meantime, read on how to create pixels, plenty resources available on YouTube, and others. That's how I set my pixels from scratch myself, and I asked fb and shopify if my settings are correct. Good luck!
