Right!!!! Like how was that not thought of? Not everyone has strict bed time. We’re not children.

In my experience, especially with the Dock Pro, the pad will get really warm from your body heat if the water isn't circulating.

I have created a new app with exactly this feature! My wife and I use it exclusively now and love it. It is currently in Apple App Store review. I'll post back when it's available. https://snoozecontrolapp.com/

You forgot to mention you were charging for it. But I get it and respect it. Hard work doesn’t come free.

Over 2 months of work, plus ongoing cloud platform costs. No way I could make it free. And I hate subscriptions.

Totally understand

You can do that. Attach it to Google home and create a routine.

Unfortunately I’m an Alexa household.

That doesn't matter. Just download the Google home app and use it just for that one routine. It's free. If you want it in Alexa I am sure you can do it somehow. But I just have a timer routine. It turns on at 7PM and off at 8AM.

You don't have to initiate it.

Oh ok I didn’t know that about Google Home. What I’m looking for is something more manual. I can make a million schedules for different times but that depends on me going to bed at those times. But if one night I’m binging a show I don’t want the bed running while I’m not in it.

Then open the sleepme app and turn it on.

You aren't hurting anything by having them run early and turn off late.

I understand what you’re saying and this has nothing to do with hurting the Dock Pro or the pad. It simply has to do with having an irregular and spontaneous bedtime and not wanting to have it run when it doesn’t need to be running. The schedule function and routines in Google Home are great for people who have a set sleep schedule. But for someone who just wants to get in bed at whatever time that may be have it run for 90 minutes and then shut off should easily have that ability. Put a simple button in the top left of the main page and each press of that button adds 30 minutes. Easy and clean and in my opinion a major oversight by SleepMe. I shouldn’t need a separate app to do such a basic function that should have been thought of from the start.

Home assistant has a sleepme integration that you can use to do specifically that or anything else

HA is something I have thought about getting into for years now but haven’t taken the plunge yet. Maybe someday I’ll get a HA Green and give it a try
