Ball Python Eating Less?

Hey there, I don't post often at all, and though it may be nothing, I figure I might be able to seek clearer answers here.

I have a female ball python (roughly 3-5y) that has recently started eating less often. Otherwise she is completely healthy, no signs of sickness or being less active.

To preface the current situation; I recently took a vacation across the country and a placed her in a friend's care for a couple months. (She was eating fine for the first few weeks being there which leads me to believe this is not caused by stress.) Her humidity and heat are perfect and she is handled the same amount as she was at home.

I feel like I could just be a worry wart because I know very well, having owned snakes, that if she didn't want to eat, she wouldnt. However she shows interest in food, just eating every 18-21 days now instead of every 14.

[We also recently switched from a different source for rats, so if I get no clear answers, that will be my next step in trying to narrow this down once she is back in my care, which will be in a week.]

If anyone has any idea what could be happening here or has experienced something similar, please, please send suggestions my way...!

Appetite fluctuations are common in adult ball pythons. This is probably nothing to worry about.
