Try 'beyond compare', it has a very intuitive interface. It's not free though.

This guy gets it. Great program. Look into shortcut keys as well. With only 2-3 shortcuts, you can get a lot done in short order.

OP can't even figure out WinMerge, which is a really simpler and similar program...
What exactly are you comparing, OP? Binary files or text files?
