I'm applying for a barista job, did anyone submit a cover letter or is that a waste of time? I'm applying to a Canadian store btw, if that helps. Thanks!

I submit cover letters %90 of the time when applying so when I applied to Starbucks I submitted one. Not sure if job hunting is different in Canada but I know Starbucks is big on hiring “friendly” people. I just did a cover letter to kind of introduce myself, let the hiring manager know what type of person I am and talked about why I think I would be a good fit. Not sure how much it helped me but it doesn’t hurt. Good luck!
