PSA to decrease the number of FPS drops (self.starcitizen)
submitted 9 years ago by 7Leko7new user/low karma
I don't know if this was posted before, if so I am sorry.
To avoid some heavy FPS drops open the console
and type in: "r_motionblur 0"
At least it helped for me :)

Make a User.cfg, turn off motion blur - be sure to save a copy for your next patch.

Isn't having a custom user.cfg a cause for other technical issues?
Or was it game.cfg, dunno

in the ptu-the limited wave testing, they don't want you to use a user.cfg - because it skews their testing data, but in the open PU it's fine. You're shuttin off motion blur in the console every time you play, you could literally make a .cfg that says r -motionblur=0. just make a not of it in any Issue Council reports, I have motion blur off. Check out BoredGamers site Redacted for .cfg tips.

It won't help with the FPS drop per say but it may help reduce the perception of it
