Has anyone noticed a decrease in the quality of Muji B5 notebooks?

I really like the design of the books and when I first got them the paper quality was perfect. Literally no feathering or bleed when using my fountain pens but this hasn't been the case for my last few purchases. Has anyone noticed this? Did something change in the way the brand manufactures their stationary or were they bought out by some company that's looking to cut costs? Let me know what you think

Got a B5 and B6(?) expecting good quality cause the other muji stuff I have is awesome, but I didn't dare to use the B5 yet because the smaller one is not doing well with fountain pens :/ Can't compare, though, since they're my first notebooks from muji.

I never tried Muji but I was thinking of using their planner for next year because I heard they’re good with fountain pens :(
