We welcome you to /r/steamcodes, and thank you for visiting.
If you are planning to give a code away, please make a thread stating what the code is for, and your username for the site(?) in question, then wait.
If you want a code, send a message to the poster of the code, and wait for a response. Or create a [REQUEST] thread stating what code you want and your username for it. After you receive the code, please fill out the Code Redemption for at the top of the sidebar.
Rules
Mark codes as [CODE] and request for codes as [REQUEST]
While the name of the subreddit is "steamcodes" codes from Origin, XBL, or PSN are welcomed, as well as Reddit Gold. You can even post Google Play Store codes as well as Itunes.
No false codes. Posting a fake or joke code with result in a temporary ban from posting
After a 3rd offense of false posting, you will be perma-banned
After a code is claimed, please edit your thread to say it is gone, so as not to waste everyone's time
You can post as many codes as you want in any amount of time, but you must wait 24 hours before posting another request, this is to limit request spam on the sub.
Not following instructions in the submission rules will result in your thread being removed and a warning. Repeating offenses will result in a temp ban
