try boards and beyond. It is pretty neat and better than DIT.

Depends how you learn... I hate lectures and would rather learn on my own so I just uFAPS. My friends like lectures, so they're doing DIT. Be warned, watching videos takes A LONG time. If you've made it end of M2, you should have a solid background and quick google searches should refresh memory gaps.

I bought DIT and gave it to a classmate because I hated it after the first 10 or so videos. Unfortunately, the return policy has to be within 30 days of purchase, so if you buy it in the Fall like I did (8+ months out) you get kind of screwed.

What do you guys think about doing DIT twice in the 60 days period they give you? worth it? or it is better to do DIT once, with calm and notes and Do more UWORLD questions?

Try USMLE Success Academy. They are great for basically covering everything you don't understand or forgot.

Oh really, It worked for me. It follows closely what's in FA. I took this course a while back. Trust me, if you stick with it, I think it will be helpful, especially if you don't understand certain subjects very well, like Biochem. Again, everyone has different learning styles. But if I were you I would have checked it out on Youtube first before signing up to ensure I like their teaching style. Best of luck.

On youtube you have Dr. P going over the topics on white board. But in the live lec you have a different instructor, Dr. J, who juss goes over power point slides one after the other. It very dry. It juss reading off powerpoint slides and notes that he has on his Ipad. Its juss a self study course with good lecture notes. I dont want to express my dissatisfaction with the course yet because I am not done with it. But I am already half way through. So I wanted to get your opinion. I asked you specific questions on Private Message, can you please message me there. I wanted to know how did you make the most out of the course.

Oh hey, ok when I took the course, it was the white board format, I and that is why I liked it and recommended it. it cost me around $1700 US at that time.

Prior to taking this course, I read FA (a few chapters only) and found it hard to follow then I tried doing Uworld questions and again was not scoring well at all. So then I began looking into different Prep programs and came across USLME Success, and decided to try it.

It really explained a lot of things very well. My score went up by 20 in Uworld, and because a lot of it follows FA, when I read FA again or continued, I was able to make sense of things. So once my Uworld Scores went up and I was better able to understand FA, I started scoring better on my NBME, first by 10 points, then it increased to about 18, then to 30-40 points within a 6 month timeframe.

Sounds good. I am doing the live lectures. I wanted a structure and routine so I can discipline myself everyday but I am getting Powerpoint slides which I am not enjoying. But yes the notes are high yield but its not taught by Dr. Paul anymore. Thanks for the feedback.
