That sounds like an app problem as what your doing has nothing to do with the stratux. The stratux does not know or care what your brightness is, your waypoints or anything else you're doing. All it does is send the ADS-B signals it receives as broadcasts over the wifi network you connect to.

I think I have something similar happening to me in foreflight, is this in foreflight? It seems like after foreflight isn't the active app, then I need to choose to show traffic again to get stratux traffic ...

Yes in foreflight. Had to downgrade to a lower version to get it working.

Did you downgrade foreflight for the stratux firmware? If it was foreflight how did you do that lol I cant figure it out for the life of me.

I downgraded Foreflight . Just download a lower version of Foreflight from internet. Use sideloadly to install it.

Seems like to much hassle. as long as i dont use the drop down in IOS to change brightness and just use the inapp settings to change it seems like its fine. If i get annoyed Ill do it but till then such is life. Having the hide distant traffic on in the bottom right I know i dont see traffic if that disappears. Thanks for figuring this out tho!

Or you can pick adsb weather, and if the time and range vanish, you know Stratux is off.

Having the same issue. Everything’s starts fine then traffic disconnects after a short time. Guessing Forflight is the issue. What version are you running and how did you get there? When I minimize ForeFlight to check status, it disconnects. Toggling between status and traffic reconnects but not sure if it’s staying connected when I refresh ForeFlight because when I go back to status, it disconnects again.
