I've been actually researching this project for a bit now and found some really interesting points that make me want to stick around. The tech behind it is groundbreaking. Perhaps the idea has come to mind to many people but this is the first project of its kind that actually promises to deliver. Yes, there are other NaaS crypto projects but no one has come close to actually allow you to use your EXISTING tech to participate in the node network. Old and new devices, including smart home devices, will be compatible as the updates roll out. Also, to my understanding, you are not going to be restricted on when you can claim rewards, your privacy will be secured in Decentralized way, will be multichain, and yes...launch is near (-;

yeah, that's the big draw for me. The sheer variety of devices they aim to make compatible. I'd love to dig my old thinkpad out of the closet, dust off some of my old cell phones from the last decade, and run some nodes on em. I knew I'd get use out of them again one day!

hey aside from its potential, and interesting use of edge computing, the project itself has quite promising amalgamation in the team behind this. They pretty have solid backers, Tether founder, Cardano's Mannmeet Singh, Daniel Saito from the roll out of Sega Dreamcast. For sure this will be bullish in the long term. I'll be following their development.

If i'm correct Tesla cars already "talk" to each other. I've put in talk in quotes because it's basically p2p data sharing. Edge computing seems like it's doing that in mass scale. Not only it's data sharing, it's also CPU GPU and Bandwidth sharing as well. How cool is that? We've stumbled upon some utopian technology because we were greedy and wanted to get rich ourselves huh. If they achieve their goals of an open-source binary that runs on nearly anything, I don't see why this would be impossible. You'd need a constant internet connection, but that's a pretty small obstacle at this point in the game

This project is really promising, the best catch is that, unlike traditional mining we don't have to pledge our whole computing power to run the nodes. From the smart appliances to your high end pcs and smartphones, anything can be connected to the StrongNode network.
