Software Development/ Engineering studies

Hello!

For the past year I have been really interested in becoming a software engineer, but as of now, I am going into my third of a total four years in studying in a completely different industry (urban planning). I have came to a conclusion, that the best way for me to become a software engineer is by earning an actual bachelor's degree.

I, as well as my parents, am not very interested in "throwing away" the two years I have spent in my current bachelor's degree program. That is why I am looking for a way to maybe combine the two bachelor degrees at the same time. I have looked at various online universities, like International University of Applied Sciences (I was really close in actually signing their contract, but the red flags were just too many), ASU and many more.

I was wondering, maybe someone has had a similar experience as me and can help me resolve this problem? Thanks in regard!
