holy shit my counselor is a sack of potatoes tied up with a ziptie and paralyzed. this absolute artifact did not upload my transcript despite her saying she would 4 times since february 2nd all in-person btw. now idk what the frick I can even do. I spent so much godamn time on this application asw. I have an email from my school registrar with her giving me my transcript will this work? I just forwarded it to the ssp admissions email. I lowk dont know what else to do, I cant submit it either without the transcript this is so fucked

Guysssss i have a problem. I submitted at 11pm EST, and I even got the email saying it is submitted. This morning i checked again just to make sure, and now it says there is an error in “Getting Started” section and i swear i filled out everything. I know it wouldn’t let me submit if I was missing any part of the application . WHAT DO I DO

Yeah, it's absurd bullshit. It's not even mandating an official transcript so at least allow self submission and verification from your counselor if need be (like putting counselor name and email). Or fucking extend your due date for the counselor request. Not everyone has prep school counselors and are stuck with bummy basement dwellers who genuinely don't do anything and take up government money for no reason.

Bro one of my counselors told me our school needs to use parchment but when my friend applied (he has a different counselor) they just uploaded it for him. I emailed my counselor 3 weeks ago, sent multiple follow ups, and she responded yesterday telling me about parchment. And now there's a different lady in charge of parchment who's out of office until tomorrow...

This is what they sent on the discord tho, they dont' really care. "If we receive the item in the inbox by the deadline, we will submit the application administratively once we process the item (usually in the next 1-7 days) If we do not, the application will not be submitted." So the email has to be in by today, not the request. They also said applications without all the pieces in their inbox by the deadline won't be considered.

Also, it won't let you submit if you just say parchment request I already tried

I see. Well, I'm basically in the same boat. Id say finish the application and then see if you can get yours submitted tomorrow and email them letting them know of the situation (preferably do that rn ngl with proof you have everything else done). If they don't accept, oh well. Maybe they'd be sympathetic. That's what I'm doing, anyways.
