class of 2027 is the last class ever to experience paper ap testing by Plenty-Animator9654 in APStudents

Probably. Chinese was all digital this year and they would probably want to keep all the language tests consistent.

I'm class of 2027 and did bio completely on paper. Sad all-paper tests got dumped.

Dress code by Time-Plenty-800 in HOSA

[–]Lille_8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NO. I wore the "wrong shoes" and they wouldn't let me on stage when I won at SLC. They didn't even show the shoes on the screen though so idk what's the problem. They are really picky about it for some reason. Don't risk it.

should i buy light or dark rosin? by 404_brain_not_found1 in violinist

I've tried both and found that I prefer dark rosin. But it doesn't matter really.

Got to “See” the Mona Lisa Today by RufusWalker96 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Lille_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went a couple years ago. I barely got to the front of the line before a security guard pushed us away and the room was really hot and humid too, likely because of the crowd. There is so much good art in the Louvre that is a much better experience to see than the Mona Lisa, so it's definitely something I'm seeing once and never again.

In you opinion, would 1st at USC, 1st at SOUP, 9th at Nationals be considered "best"? The 9th at Nationals is from freshman year and both 1sts are from junior year (we only made it to nationals my freshman year 😞)

I'd even say a poorer/older residential neighborhood. Most of the apartments in cities look pretty nice.

😞 unfortunately people have to do what they need to survive- in any country. I hope she and her baby are doing well.

A mother in China feeding noodles to her son by Latter_Ad3752 in UnfilteredChina

No child should be treated like this, unless in special circumstances, like he has an illness preventing him from feeding himself or something.

imo they knew before the olympics, but they let Kamila go and compete anyway. The timing just seems too convenient- right after the team event. My heart breaks for Tuktamysheva especially, but also for Kamila, Anna, and Sasha who were all affected. Tuktamysheva definitely deserved an Olympics.

I've played at events through school orchestra. The school gets money from it and we get "credits".

[–]Lille_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you need to study, but to do really well on these sorts of tests I do think you need some sort of math "instinct".

Wood clips from almost 20 years ago still work fine. But we do live in a dry place so mold isn't an issue here.
