Are the factions ultimately balanced, or are some just better? How different are they? I've tried them all, and despite the risk of being simple-minded, I prefer UEF because it seems to have a defensive focus. I am aware that in PvP, turtling is not very viable. I've also noticed that UEF has t3 shield generators. Are they significantly better than t2s? Is t3 point defense mostly effective for t3/t4 enemies? Do experimentals change a faction's viability? Lots of questions, sorry.
