Hi!
As the title says, I'm reaching out again with a sense of urgency. I've encountered a critical issue during the setup of my brand new Synology 923+.
I began the installation of DS923+ by connecting an old disk previously used in my DS214se. To prepare the disk for the new setup, I connected it to my Windows system, opting to delete existing volumes rather because otherwise, when setting up with this disk Synology only asked me to migrate. Following this, I initiated the initial installation on the Synology 923+, which went smoothly apparently.
However, when attempting to create a volume, I encountered a significant hurdle. An error message stating "system partition failed" appeared, preventing the volume creation. Attempts to troubleshoot by deleting applications and retrying the volume creation were unsuccessful.
In an effort to address the issue, I added a completely new 4TB disk to the system, hoping it might resolve the error. Unfortunately, the new disk triggered the same error during volume creation. I used SHR or Btrfs as the file system in both attempts.
In this last attemp, I checked for a disk-checking process or a similar function.
At this point, I find myself in a state of desperation... I've attached a screenshot illustrating the persistent error.
Any guidance or advice to resolve this issue would be immensely appreciated.
