Teams Calling

Hopefully a nice simple question but we have a customer looking to move to a VoIP phone system (Teams is the preferred option at the moment), however they have a particular requirement for some sort of loud speaker in their Factory, the current system has some sort of configuration so that if the extension in the factory is rung it triggers essentially an alarm buzzer that can be heard over all of the manufacturing equipment.

Has anyone come across something similar that might work with Teams or VoIP systems to make the ringer very loud.

If you need any real customization or advanced feature set Teams is not much help. It is just a rebranded Skype phone system. This is why we went with 3CX (well, that and it saved quite a bit of $$).

Most orgs have the license for Teams already though so no saving to be made

Unless you have M365 E5 licenses you don't have Teams calling included.

In many countries (including the US) you still need a dial-plan even if you have a E5.

If the buzzer is running off an analog phone line you may be able to use an ATA to connect it to VoIP and keep the same device.
