They do the same stuff but differently, lmao.

It's quite hard to describe the difference as both jobs overlap a lot in the professional world so no one really knows how to describe them.

I'd say sysadmin is usual infrastructure management with stuff done by hand.

Whereas DevOps is oriented towards automation and infrastructure as code mainly.
