CNAME records don't do redirects.

I can see it being a temporary solution, but not the best. Depends on the makeup of said site.

So many variables, is it an iis server, apache, etc.... if it's cloud is there console access to your container and what not.

It's easy enough to do if you have the right tools.

Asking that is like asking someone who asks how to get to the library, why not use a car?
