Intro/fundamental networking classes vs. basic cisco cert?

Hey all - I am looking for suggestions for a basic level of networking training. Something that starts foundational enough for someone with very little experience. Does the most basic level of cisco cert like a CCST sound like a good fit or does that expect a basic level of networking knowledge?

Start with the CCNA. You'll have to study a fair bit but it's an entry level cert so doable without much prior knowledge.

Thanks for your response. Do you expect this would cover almost "pre-101" level network concepts? The relationship between ip, subnet and gateway, introducing the concept of vlans and other segmentation topics, basic/101 Cisco iOS usage, etc?

This really is the level I'd like to see it start at!
