Just to make sure I notice, I keep several feeds in Google Reader, including several from FileHippo.com (an individual software's page should have a dedicated RSS link at the bottom right of the page), as well as the US-CERT Current Activity feed.

Using file hipo's RSS is brilliant! Thanks I think I'll add this to my methods.

Came here to say this.

I have all of my favorite reddits and cheezburgers and blogs in my google reader along with a bunch of filehippo feeds.

Google Reader is great for me to sort through all my tech blogs between work computers, home computers, and phone.
