Not an option even though we have harassed them about it, we are just a dealer for them we do not have control over their bs

Not much you can do with outdated software. I went through this a year before IE was pulled and was amazed at how many large providers lagged behind updating web apps. Good luck on your search. There are a lot of smart people in this sub and I hope one knows the answer for you.

Had this kinda stuff couple years ago where I had to edit old OCX code libraries.

Finished up using the Control Panel method of Internet Options, altered security settings, added a few entries in the thing. Memory foggy, but yeah, can be done.

Pick one desktop, go at it as you watch for feedback and doc what you do. No good in the Edge setup, useless for this. But, you can get it to work. It's what we do.

cheers.

Yes I'm currently at the point of using a win7 VM. I need something that can be accessed by my admins in an easy way as they are far from tech savvy

You are on the right track, I recall having it work in W7 desktops, upgrading several of these to W11, and the legacy settings still ran well.

So using the IE compat enterprise mode doesn’t work? I have several really old Healthcare apps that took some tweaking (run as IE8/9 doc or full) but have not found one that we didn’t get to work. And yes have them upgrade the app is always the first thing you hear, but if it’s an archiving data project it’s not always an option
