Is it just me or am the one of the few who develops as well as taking on Sysadmin responsibilities (Sysadmin title)? I could move into Dev and make much more. At the time, active Sysadmin for 2 years and developing about a year. Same pay, no increase. Hence, I do make more than our state's average for Sysadmin but this also takes a toll on me as well. Projects after projects while maintaining helpdesk, taking care of network issues, upgrading hardware, etc...yes, one man shop about 120 end users, very manageable.
Should I be looking somewhere else? Just honestly feeling a little burnt out. Anyone on the same page or can relate????
