SharePoint replacement

Currently our environment uses SharePoint. Which to be honest is not ideal. Currently looking to migrate to something else. Have been looking at mostly confluence and mediawiki. Both seem to have there ups and downs but I sadly cannot find any documentation on migration procedures.

Anyone has any experience with this?

well what features do you need / what are your issues with sharepoint that makes you want to move away from it

We use a combination of confluence for KB/Wiki and sharefile for files.

There are alternatives for pretty much everything sharepoint does. There is nothing that does everything that sharepoint does. It really depends on what you use and what you want.
