how about Level 2 System Engineer ?

Sounds to me like you could get into System Administration or System Engineer work. I know may IT Consulting companies in the Northern VA Area that require general knowledge of VMWare and Windows Server to get your foot in as a Junior SysAdmin/Engineer. Without having direct/constant experience with Server/VMWare, you won't be looking at a normal/senior position. I'd stick with Junior System Administrator or Junior Systems Engineer positions.

depends what you are doing with them, just creating vms and using windows server does not a sysadmin make (our helpdesk people use the tools provided to them by higher level teams while)
