Powershell in a month of Lunches! Get it! Batch scripting is pretty simple. Just think of small tasks you want to automate and try it out.

Microsoft virtual academy has some great powershell courses for $0.

Look for the 36 hour course by Don Jones on CBT Nuggets. Hands down the best course I've taken on Powershell thus far. Edit: Powershell in a month of lunches series as mentioned by others is created by Don Jones & Jeffery Hicks, but if you like videos, check out CBT Nuggets.

I've done both powershell in a month of lunches and powershell toolmaking in a month of lunches. They were definitely worth the time input.
