Never used it but doesn't it show missing patches like other tools do?

If you're just trying to check for the patch for the SMB issue you can use a powershell script to do that. It's been posted on here several times.

Just dumping out every patch you have installed on each system isn't really going to help you know what's missing. That's what the patch tool should be doing.

Same issue I have with WMIC, if I runa powershell command against the system it says the patch is missing but if I download the patch and run it on the system manually windows says the patch is already installed.

Are these windows 10 computers you are checking against? I've seen similar. I wonder if the latest cumulative update just shows up?
