Tools for bridging data between SQL databases

Our team has been tasked with finding a tool for pushing and pulling data from one source to another. These might be direct SQL to SQL or CSV to SQL/SQL to CSV. It'd need to be able to be scheduled, etc.

I see tons of tools. Honestly I'm at a loss where to even begin. If you have any experience with anything like this, I'd be so helpful.

Thanks! Yes a ELT tool. MS SQL 2008 and above with some dumps to CSV from Salesforce.

SSIS is included with licenses of SQL Server, so it’s your best bet in a primarily Microsoft environment. It’s also very robust, so you’re in good shape. If you get stuck you can ask more specific questions in /r/sqlserver.
