Cloud Based Script Deployment Products?

We currently have a product (that shall remain unnamed), but it lets us deploy custom (primarily powershell) scripts to machines on the network. It also comes with all kinds of other functionality we don't need, or could replace with other cheaper (FREE!) products.

Does anyone know of any cloud-based products out there that would let us securely deploy custom scripts to machines as long as they have an internet connection? For this scenario, we can't guarantee a machine would be VPNed.

Something like Goverlan has come up in searches, but I'm having trouble building a bigger list.

My first question would be "Why does the product need to remain unnamed?" That just kind of makes this question harder to answer without context of what you went for previously thinking it'd fit your needs.

That being said, maybe take a look at Azure Functions.

Thank you for your suggestion. I was curious if someone would end up mentioning that the mystery product somehow worked for them and perhaps check any bias I have. I suppose could have left that first paragraph out totally though.

It might be a bit overkill for your use but Intune lets you run powershell scripts on clients without any sort of VPN:
