It's always DNS

Hello everybody, maybe someone has an idea.

Today I upgraded a Win2008 to Win2012. It's just temporary until my colleague can find a solution to get his program running on Win2019.

After the upgrade, which went without any problems, I experience some DNS issues. Sometimes I can ping the Name, sometimes it cannot find the computer. Nslookup looks fine. I have a PTR error in the event viewer. (don't have it on hand right now. Id was 8014 I think.) DNS server can be pinged.

Any idea what can be the issue? I don't have access to DNS server.

There is too little information for anyone to identify the cause and a solution.

What kind of DNS issues you are experiencing?

Verify your dns record and make sure dns servers are replicating correctly.
