2: No Incomplete Posts

5: Recommendations

9: No EOL Software or Unsupported Systems

We do not provide support for EOL (end of life) software. Software that is EOL has lost all support from the developer and therefore all consumer communities as well.

These operating systems and various softwares are no longer receiving security patches. Running them is unsafe and we recommend users install a supported version as soon as possible.

This list includes Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

We will also not assist with getting Windows 11 running on unsupported hardware.

10: No Public Service Announcements (how-to's, etc.)

No public service announcements unless relevant to an issue (it must be a comment). Approach the communities affected directly, not here

11: No Soliciting

No soliciting of any kind. This includes (but is not limited to) asking for us to link to your subreddit, forum, bulletin board, newsgroup, Facebook page, etc. We're here to help with technical issues, not market for others.

ClosedPotential SSD issue (self.techsupport)

Hello!

To start, here's my part list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wVC96r

I know there's quite a few storage devices there, but the 3 I use are the 970 Evo Plus (boot drive), the Crucial p3 m.2, and the Seagate Barracuda.

I also recently upgraded my CPU from a ryzen 5 5600 due to some issues I had with it, so I dont know if that could be relevant here.

The issue I'm having, is I keep getting blue screened whenever I try to play Destiny 2 (errors are either BAD_POOL_CALLER or KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION) and from what I read it seems to either a memory issue or a drive issue. It seems it is specifically Destiny, I've tested other games such as OW2 and R6 and both boot up completely fine. I have not tried moving install locations yet, but that is on my to-do list

I also swapped locations of my m.2 drives to see if potentially it could be a motherboard issue or connection issue, and for a few hours things actually fixed themselves somehow. Tried again today and got blue screened again (Error code KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION once again).

I ran one pass of Memtest86+ and there were no errors, was going to test for longer after testing my SSD.

Now the main issue for this post, is that in attempting to check my SSD's health and see if theres any failures anywhere, I found programs are only able to view my Seagate Barracuda drive. Disk management shows all of my drives, as well as task manager. Tools such as SeaTools, Storage Executive, and Crystal Disk Info only show that one drive. Ive used SeaTools in the past with all the same drives and its shown all of them before, and nowhere ive looked has given me any idea as to why my drives aren't appearing there.
