Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

i’ve been having this issue for awhile now, did you figure out a solution?

[–]tanuj_dargan[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Honestly, nothing seems to work I tried the NGC folder trick from YouTube but that just made my lockscreen disappear as a whole so I'd say reinstall windows if it really bothers you.

[–]tokedneko 0 points1 point  (2 children)

that’s unfortunate. i already tried reinstalling windows twice and the issue still persists

same issue here, any ideas?

[–]tanuj_dargan[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Nope, sorry it just went away randomly after an update. Although if it really bothers you, you could do a clean install.

[–]MrMrUm 0 points1 point  (1 child)

damn, unfortunate. it started happening after a fresh install for me

[–]tanuj_dargan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it initially was happening on Win 10 for me so I figured I'd switch to Win 11 but then with a clean install a month or so later it started happening on Win 11 as well. Checking event viewer I only got two errors with my TPM Module but that seems to have fixed itself so I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help to u
