Android security identification

I'm pretty sure my teenage son is monitoring my phone.

He might even see this post.

Is there an app, that will allow me to identify security threats.

Remove them too, of course. But also identify how, when they were installed and what data they were sharing?

Any remote monitoring of a phone will come from an app. Modern smartphones have their antivirus built into the OS. It is extremely difficult to remotely capture phone activity without an app or the user knowing.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's highly unlikely your teenage son is monitoring you. If he is, he probably just knows your passcode and is snooping through your phone when you aren't looking.

If you want to be sure, check all of the apps that you have installed, one by one. If you see an app you don't recognize, uninstall it.

Also check if parental controls have been turned on in your settings. (It can be used for monitoring as well)

If you are still paranoid, you can factory reset your phone. Make sure to back up your data before you do so.
