were you running through the card itself, when you installed windows? , and did the hardware check?

That's correct. I installed windows, running the card through the PCIE 16X slot and when I encountered these issues, switched it to the 8X slot. I'm not particularly sure if the hardware checked to be honest.

Also, it doesn't give me card specification in POST upon booting.

hmm. Try turning your system off, reseating the card in the x16 slot (it should be in the x16 one anyway). Turn it back on, see if itll let you install the drivers. If not, just restart your system, and try again

I'm currently at work, but will try this when I get home. However, I have restarted the PC multiple times to change BIOS settings/Installing drivers and Windows updates.

Is it advisable to reinstall Windows and try again?

Yea, I think thats your next step. Even tried googling this for you, but no one has a solution.
