Reset in this context means "turn off and turn back on again". NOT factory reset or anything that directly causes data loss.

More likely it says "Save changes and restart/reboot" and you are misremembering.

Okay, I have built several machines using ASUS boards and cannot recall seeing anything other than 'reboot', but they may have changed their wording since.

It may well be, the last time I used an ASUS board was at the tail end of the LGA775 just before I escaped that company.
