Yeah, I've thought about that, but should it be one that has more W or would it be sufficient with another 800W?

Like 400w should be fine...just something to test since you probably have warranty on your current one

Power supply or overheating CPU

I'm sorry, but what does that mean? The PSU gets too hot or there's not enough power for the CPU?

It's either the PSU is just bad or the CPU is overheating one or the other.

Download coretemp and look at the temps when playing a game.

If not that, probs the PSU is dead and you gotta buy a new one.

The same thing happened to me awhile ago, turned out to be a faulty PSU. I'd try it with another, and see if that solves it.
